It installs quickly and easily without tools or permanent modification by simply unscrewing the scope ring from the body and threading the extender in its place. The bayonet mount accepts the eyepiece and a simple quick-release button allows the eyepiece to be quickly removed. A ring on the extender screws off for using digiscoping adapters.
